We’ve been hard at work bringing exciting new features and updates to our iOS and Android apps every week since our launch back in November of last year. Here are some of the highlights:
Better in-store purchasing experience: Android users can now take advantage of touchless bitcoin payments with Near Field Communication support. Just tap to pay when using Circle to check out!
Notification Widget: You can now transact from within the iOS notification center! You can also check the bitcoin price on Circle and generate a QR code in the widget.
Easier deposit and withdrawals: You can now link bank accounts and credit cards from within the iOS app. To speed up the process even further, we’ve added the ability to scan a credit card!
New communication features: You can now easily send reminders in the app if people haven’t accepted payments you’ve sent.
Android wear! We just released Circle for Android wear so that Circle customers can use bitcoin as easily as they can tell time.
We’ve also fixed bugs that our customers reported via social media and our support center. Thanks for the feedback!
