Circle has been named as one of the TIME 100 Most Influential Companies 2023 in the “Leaders” category.
10 years after the launch of Circle, we continue to evolve with a specific focus on growing the utility of USDC. We are pioneering a real-world use case for USDC: humanitarian aid. In December 2022, UNHCR, the U.N.’s refugee agency announced a pilot program with Circle and the Stellar Development Foundation to distribute USDC via secure digital wallets to Ukrainian refugees, who can exchange it for local currencies.
In recognition of this work, we’re honored to share that Circle has been named as one of the TIME 100 Most Influential Companies 2023 in the “Leaders” category.

To assemble the list, TIME solicited nominations from its global network of contributors and correspondents as well as from outside experts. Then TIME editors evaluated each on key factors, including impact, innovation, ambition, and success. The result is a diverse group of 100 businesses helping chart an essential path forward.
